Bert started his career in professional photography in 2002 after 35 successful years as a scientist and engineer in the nuclear industry. 

His technical knowledge of computers and software were a perfect match for the emerging field of digital photography.  In addition to his scientific and engineering degrees he has completed the professional level courses at the New York Institute of Photography and is a member of the Professional Photographers of Washington.  He has completed instructional workshops related to photography and digital imaging.

Rita first interested Bert in photography when they were in High School (don’t ask how many years ago). She has also attended Professional Photographers of Washington meetings, Wedding Workshops and works with Bert as his assistant to create the ‘perfect image’.
